ngymark In 2018, when I was travelling in the states, I went to Chicago and one night our couchsurfing host took us to a bar. That night Planet Flippo performed. I was lucky enough to experience this musical journey, which I cannot forget. after the concert I purchased a CD copy of the record named Ganesh, which I often listen to at home when I need to escape from reality. I am extremely happy I can now listen to this amazing record on the go.

    This was the band's second album, when I was still into my "globaljazz" scene. Some of the tunes added some samples, which was different for us - we have elephants at the beginning of 'Ganesh' and wierd lightning, branched breaking sounds in the 'Battle of Shiva and Ganesh'. Also I used a synth patch on my keyboard. A lot of styles on this CD - hopefully at least one tune that hits home.

    This is the band's second CD, and includes a wide variety of world music influences that are mixed with jazz and funk. Three of the pieces are Indojazz, including the title cut, "Ganesh." There are also several solo piano pieces scatted throughout the quintet recordings.
